For some reason, I thought that James Cameron and M. Night were making two versions of the same movie. Turns out that they are completely different.

The idea for James Cameron’s movie “Avatar” was conceived way before the cartoon series ever aired. M. Night’s “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is based on the cartoon series on Nick. Trailer below.

I don’t know much about the cartoon series but I hear its pretty good. Not too sure about M. Night though. I think his directing ability died right after The Sixth Sense. The Happening was the worst piece of crap ever.
