If this was what figure skating was really like I think I would watch it more often.

Lots of people say they invented snowboarding.. but apparently it has been going on for hundreds of years in the city my parents are from! In northeast Turkey, in the city of Rize, in the town of Ikizdere, on the Kaçkar Mountains (read kach-kar)... people have been 'snowboarding' for a long time before anyone knew about it. Professional snowboarder, Jeremy Jones, went to Rize to see it for himself, and tried out the original kind of snowboard which is like a wooden plank tied to a string and a stick in your other hand. Pretty interesting stuff. Thanks Dad!

If you're wondering if a polar bear was just awakened, used his electricity powers to form a hockey stick to destroy the icebreaker that woke him up, decides to fly a fighter jet with his two other polar bear friends to destroy the rival universities building and then drop a nuclear bomb in a volcano to destroy the whole earth, just so he (breathes heavily to catch breath) could be launched into an ice rink in space and burn a goal post...You're not mistaken, because that DID just happen. I find snowboarding very enjoyable even though I suck at it. I know Chris and Sunny go snowboarding quite often and they are awesome at it. This is pretty cool.
