I was reminded through doobybrain about candy sticks. I enjoyed these so much as a child but I remember only one store in Chinatown sold them. I was going to go to Economy Candy with Liz tomorrow to buy some. Then I remembered that they were being sold for so much less on Amazon! World King Sized Candy Sticks 24 boxesonly costs $3.58 + shipping. Economy Candy sells it for $0.75 each! I just ordered myself a box and can't wait till it comes in! YEAH!

Jack Cover, inventor of the Taser, died of pneumonia last Saturday. He was 88 years of age.

Cover started working on the Taser in the 1960s and formed Taser Systems Inc in 1970. Now the Taser is probably one of the most well known nonlethal weapons ever.

DON'T TASE ME BRO!

I just finished watching Confessions of a Superhero by Matt Ogens and I really enjoyed it. It is a documentary about the lives of people trying to get big in Hollywood. It follows the lives of four people who make a living working as superhero characters on Hollywood Boulevard and how they deal with daily life: all their hardships, struggles, and accomplishments.

She’s had them since 1979 and were more than 28 feet long. Holy crap she looks mad scary.

These are pretty cool cards featuring classic NES characters from webcomic 2PStart. They’re called “Anti-ValentiNES” so they are not exactly great valentine’s day cards to send somebody. But they are still awesome!

This is about the only time you'd ever hear me say herpes is cute! Check out these Giant Plush Microbes from ThinkGeek ($7.99 ea)! They have some of the most notorious and dangerous cells of diseases there and you can't help but feel less serious about the disease by looking at the plushes. Thanks Liz!

This was a dust storm in Broken Hill Australia. This looks like something you'd see in a movie. Kind of reminded me of the movie Twister, but with a sand storm! Wait till the end! Holy Shinanogans!
