According to Guinness World Records, the world's largest pool is at the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, Chile. The pool is 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, and contains 66 million gallons of water! The pool literally hugs the coast of the sea and uses a certain kind of technology to fill the pool by using the water from the Pacific Ocean. The only downfall is that the pool is filled with saltwater... Why build a gigantic pool next to the beach and fill it with saltwater? Regardless, the pool is fantastic. They have little boats for people to use to wander around the pool. Sick.
