Alien Invasion Show By Steven Spielberg

posted by sdonn on 01.22.10 at 2:12 pm

Steven Spielberg has created a show that sounds awesome but at the same time kind of old. Its about an alien invasion on earth that takes place 6 months after the initial arrival of the aliens. Whats surprising is that this show will be on TNT!!! They know drama, not action. But since its the BERG, im sure the show will be great. Steven Spielberg's new show

Alien Chestburster Shirt

alien-chestburster-augmented-reality-shirt

This has to be the coolest idea for a shirt in the history of cool ideas for shirts. I assume you guys know what augmented reality is and I also assume you know what an alien chestburster is. What do you get when you combine them both and put it on a t-shirt? The most awesome t-shirt ever.

Too bad it’s still in development. More info here if you can read German.

Baby Alien Spotted in Mexico.

posted by qtjoel on 08.30.09 at 8:08 pm

I find alien movies interesting and to know that we are one in trillions of galaxies, makes me believe that there are indeed other life forms out there. This video looked pretty legitimate with all those professors and doctors doing autopsies on it...Creepy stuff!

Mexican TV revealed the almost unbelievable story – in 2007, a baby alien was found alive by a farmer in Mexico. He drowned it in a ditch out of fear, and now two years later scientists have finally been able to announce the results of their tests on this sinister-looking carcass. At the end of last year the farmer, Marao Lopez, handed the corpse over to university scientists who carried out More… DNA tests and scans. He claimed that it took him three attempts to drown the creature and he had to hold it underwater for hours. Tests revealed a creature that is unknown to scientists – its skeleton has characteristics of a lizard, its teeth do not have any roots like humans and it can stay underwater for a long time. But it also has some similar joints to humans. Its brain was huge, particularly the rear section, leading scientists to the conclusion that the odd creature was very intelligent. But it has seemingly left experts stumped.

district9

Just came back from watching District 9. I’ve been looking forward to seeing it for a while now. The trailers were awesome as was the short it was based on titled “Alive in Joberg”. And now that I’ve seen it, I can say District 9 was awesome as well. Super effing awesome. It’s probably the best movie I’ve seen in theaters this year.

I've seen some discussion of District 9 here, and linked is Niel Blomkamp's (director of District 9) earlier work, a short film called "Alive in Joberg." Its pretty cool and is actually the foundation for D9
