It was a hard fought war fight... But the kitten's efforts paid off at the end LOL.

Working on some stuff

posted by Chris on 07.07.09 at 3:13 pm

I'm working on some things on WTFoodge so excuse any bugs or errors you see, specifically the right side. The previous "Top Posts" plugin kind of sucked so I'm fixing that. It should be better when I'm done.

And is anyone watching the MJ Memorial thing? It's kind of ridiculous.

Edit: All done. I think.

Alien Looking Caterpillars.

alien-caterpillar

I always thought caterpillars were somewhat friendly cute little creatures, with some of them being poisonous...But I would have never guessed any of them could look like aliens you'd see in movies! I'm starting to think the Predator and Alien aesthetics were inspired by certain types of caterpillars!

I Just Caught A Huge Ass Mosquito Thing

I don’t know what’s up with me and catching bugs but I’ve caught another little insect. Okay, this one isn’t that little. In fact, its actually kind of big. Its like the size of a paper clip and has really long legs.

I saw like five of these things flying around the lights as I walked out of the shower. So I went back to my room and grabbed an empty water bottle and used my ninja capture-insect-in-bottle skills to catch it.

After doing some extensive research, aka googling “giant mosquito thing”, it turns out that this thing I’ve captured is probably a crane fly. I think I’ll just let it spend the rest of its lonely, uneventful life sitting in my empty Poland Spring bottle.

Oh yeah. Joel and I put the spider I caught last time into the ant farm and nothing happened. The spider turned out to be a huge pansy. Every time it came in contact with one of the ants, it would just run away like a little girl.
