The outer case is rubber so it makes it a tad buit more durable and apparently the bottem is vent free! I can use this thing and it won't over heat on my bed :D This was made for kids and students in the classroom but heck with that! I'm still a child at heart...I want one! Check out the nifty specs.

Check out these awesome designs on Dell Studio 15 laptops. I guess the point of it is to make laptops more personal since they are offering 120 new designs. I think this is an awesome idea because I like personalized laptops. It gives them character. I believe all the specs and the design of the Studio 15 laptop in general are sexy.

Inside the Adamo

For any one interested, iFixit and TechRepublic teamed up to crack open the Dell Adamo and has a 78 picture gallery of the process. They took it apart to check out the insides and compared it to the Macbook Air, Apple’s ultrathin laptop.

Yeah. It looks great but I still think that ass thing is ugly. And the price tag! WTF!

Dell Adamo

The Dell Adamo looks gorgeous. Except for one minor thing.

I hate the extrusion sticking out the back of the Adamo. It looks like a BIG FAT ASS. And its annoying because its supposed to be the “world’s thinnest” notebook but that big fat ass just ruins it all. Look at the FATNESS!

Adamo Thirteen Notebook

Check out the unboxing video from Xavier at Notebooks.com. That’s some pretty fancy packaging.

I think the Voodoo Envy 133 looks better.

My Dell XPS M1330

posted by qtjoel on 03.05.09 at 12:04 pm

I was just looking at my dell XPS and I was thinking how great of a computer it was. I have two major MAJOR complaints though, and I can only find a solution to 1 of those 2 problems.

dell-xps-1330

My Dell XPS 1330 was given to me as a gift with all top of the line stuff...Just not a graphics card. I have the best Intel Processor that is available for this laptop, 4 gigs of ram, 320 gigs of hard drive space, but I have an integrated Intel graphics card. I can't do anything about this even if I wanted to unless I buy a whole new motherboard.

I like to edit videos a lot and I don't think my computer can handle it a lot of the time because it starts lagging after I import about 6 minutes of video. I also can't play any video games on this laptop. The analogy I used before was "It's like buying a Porche with everything cooped up, but the engine." Man, what I would give to be able to get the Nvidea graphics card for this laptop!!!! The other problem is that I actually put this laptop on my lap, but it always overheats and I end up sweating or with hot laps. I think I just need to get a laptop cooler and put it under it. That is all. Bye.

Dell Support Through LiveChat….AGAIN!

posted by qtjoel on 02.17.09 at 12:13 pm

dell-livechat-support

I had to get my mic fixed today though Dell's Livechat. I asked the guy earlier in the conversation if he was from India and he responded yes (I always ask this question when I'm talking to them). So after he was done helping me I had a question. It wasn't out of racism or ignorance but rather out of curiousity. I asked him if he watched Slumdog Millionaire, apparently he didn't. He better keep his word and watch it because it's a darn good movie! Trailer below.
