Kinda late but still funny. Of course, you would’ve had to see District 9 to get it.

Just came back from watching District 9. I’ve been looking forward to seeing it for a while now. The trailers were awesome as was the short it was based on titled “Alive in Joberg”. And now that I’ve seen it, I can say District 9 was awesome as well. Super effing awesome. It’s probably the best movie I’ve seen in theaters this year.

There’s a new version of the District 9 trailer I posted yesterday. It’s basically the same thing but the alien interrogation scene is translated and its face isn’t pixelated.

IWatchStuff.com has made a good point: “The problem is, aliens can never say they come in peace, because even the hostile ones say they come in peace”. So of course, expect some awesome alien vs human action.

According to imdb, District 9 is about “An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly find a kindred spirit in a government agent that is exposed to their biotechnology”. Whatever that means. The trailer below is definitely worth checking out.

Illegal Aliens. Haha. Very punny. It’s scheduled for release on August 14th, 2009, which seems pretty far in the future but it does look really interesting. The director, Neill Blomkamp, doesn’t seem to have many movies under his belt. The rest of his movies are just shorts.

Check out this link for some fancy website associated with the movie. It doesn’t really tell much more about the movie than the trailer though.
