BLOOD. Yummy. Joel posted about these Blood Energy Potions a while back. If you didn’t read it, they’re basically energy drinks that are marketed as having similar characteristics to blood: nutrition, consistency, and color. The Blood Energy Potion guys were awesome enough to send us some packets of these things so Joel and I tried them out. Not bad… not bad.

WTFoodge?! Can someone buy me three of these Blood energy potions? Apparently they give you 4 hours of energy and give you the similar nutrition blood would provide. Drink this and you'll get a good serving of iron, protein, and electrolytes. I just want to drink this around campus with some of it leaking out the side of lips and some of it on my white t-shirt just to see what people say. I'm going to see if I can get my hands on some, but I won't get it till January 2010 because that's when it's set to be sold

From our neighbors in Canada comes this strange anti-energy drink called Slow Cow. Basically, what it is is the opposite of Red Bull. Instead of all the caffeine and stuff that makes you hyper, Slow Cow contains theanine, chomile, valerian, passiflora, and other ingredients that have weird names to help calm you down.

Seems like a neat idea but I think it’s Canada only. Anybody heading to Canada soon wanna smuggle some in?

Mountain Dew has two new World of Warcraft inspired soda out called Game Fuel. There are two types: The Alliance one has a “wild fruit flavor” and the Horde one is a “citrus cherry” flavor. Check out the official site.

I can’t help but notice that these are very similar to those energy potion drinks. If you’re a hardcore WoW nerd, you’d might want to get these Mountain Dew ones but the energy potion ones are way more legit.
