As many of you know, I just came back from a missions Christian conference called Urbana and I feel called to go to India for healthcare missions maybe sometime after I graduate from nursing school or during nursing school. During that time, I also plan to figure out what in the WORLD the Syed brothers are being fed that makes them ridiculous. I bet you they have a Power Balance.

Yes. You read that right. LifeGem, a company in Chicago, got a hold of some of Michael Jackson’s burnt hair from the 1984 Pepsi commercial and now they’ve decided to turn it into diamonds.

"Absolutely this is for real," said Dean VandenBiesen, founder of LifeGem, which has a patent on a process that extracts carbon from hair, turns it into crystals and then into high-quality laboratory diamonds.

No sale price has been set but Mr VandenBiesen said LifeGem created three diamonds from locks of Beethoven's hair in 2007 and sold one of them for around $200,000.
