Human Clock

Part of Maarten Baas's "Real Time" project, this clock gives the illusion of having someone inside of it erasing and redrawing the hands every minute. But what it really is is a 12 hour video loop of the artist actually spending 12 hours to erase and redraw the hands of the clock every minute, making that probably the most unproductive 12 of the his life.

It'd be a nice accompaniment to that human interface computer, wouldn't it?

Wish they didn’t speed up the video. I want to see how it looks in real time.

Human Vending Machine

Imagine this being an actual job? Just think of how much that would suck. Sure, everytime you need a snack you could just grab one for yourself but think of all the kids that are gonna harass you for more Kit Kat bars.

Kit Kat is running this human vending machine campaign called “Working Like a Machine” in the UK, idea stolen from the Japanese.

The guy inside looks WAY too happy.
