Custom Titanium iPhone Case

posted by sdonn on 02.24.10 at 6:41 pm

This is a titanium case for an iPhone. When the photos first surfaced online today some thought it was fake, claiming the metal would block or hinder the signal strength but now the creator has provided engadget with a video and you can head on over there to take a look at this pretty beautiful piece of tech. How many oranges does it take to power an iPhone

I'm sure at least one of you have done this science experiment: You take some kind of citrusy fruit, connect it to some wires, and try to power a light bulb. Somehow the light bulb lights up and you go, "oh sheet". Here, Jaffa oranges does that same experiment but instead of powering a lame light bulb, they try to power an iPhone. So how many oranges does it take to power an iPhone? The answer is in the video above.

iCall

posted by tamer on 01.27.10 at 8:17 pm

So you wanna make free phone calls through your PC? Here it is. It's called iCall. It lets you make unlimited free calls for 5-minute intervals, basically that means.. every phone call is maximum 5 minutes, but you can keep calling them back. Perfect for prank calls because the number which appears on the other person's caller ID is a number from iCall's pool of phone numbers, therefore, they can't find you. You can either download the program or you can try the online version which gives you 3 minutes. They have an iPhone App as well.

Stuck under rubble with blood gushing out of your head and legs after an earthquake? Don't know what to do? There's an app for that.

Dan Woolley was in a hotel in Haiti when the quake hit and he thought he was doomed, then he remembered he had a first aid app on his iphone. Thanks Polycarp!

The $3,164,000 iPhone 3GS Supreme

This my friends is the iPhone 3gs supreme. Take your average iPhone, throw on some gold and diamonds and you have this ugly mess. If you notice, even the home button is encrusted. That has to get very annoying at some point. And by the looks of this post on gizmodo, someone actually bought it. Gizmodo

Add a Physical Keyboard to your Ipod/Iphone!

posted by qtjoel on 09.18.09 at 2:23 pm

iTwinge

The biggest complain I hear with the iphone is how hard it is to type. I've gotten used to it so it isn't much a problem for me anymore...Well for my ipod touch. Here's your quick fix solution. The ITwinge adds an actual keyboard to your iphone! If you want a keyboard THAT badly for your iphone...I recommend you buy it..Otherwise I feel like it would be a hassle to put it on and take it off all the time. Buy it here for $30!
