Project Natal on Jimmy Fallon

posted by Chris on 06.11.09 at 12:59 pm

Xbox’s Creative Director, Kudo Tsunoda, for Project Natal was on Late Night last night and showed a prototype of the Natal. Jimmy Fallon got to try it out as well as the guy from the Office and the dude from Trueblood.

Yeah, this Project Natal thing is still in its development stages but it looks like it might suck. Just check out this suckage in the above clip. Those red jumpsuits are ridiculous.

The response time looks hella laggy and everyone seemed to have problems with driving in Burnout. Jimmy was pretty excited about it though, almost N64 kid status.

Hopefully development goes smoothly and Project Natal doesn’t end up being too gimmicky.

Ben Linus Reads a Nursery Rhyme

posted by Chris on 04.17.09 at 12:15 pm

Michael Emerson, aka Ben Linus from Lost, appeared on Jimmy Fallon last night. He’s soooooo creepy. Even when he’s just talking to Jimmy, he sounds like he’ll just stab you in the face. Then he reads the nursery rhyme. OH SHAT. Best guest on Jimmy Fallon so far.

Oh shiz! He was the guy in the Saw. I didn’t know that.

Jimmy Fallon’s First Show

The first Late Night with Jimmy Fallon aired last night and I gotta say, it wasn’t great. He seemed really nervous and the bits were only okay. But that’s okay, Conan’s first show wasn’t that great either.

The monologue was pretty bad. But monologue are usually pretty bad. Robert De Niro interview was boring cause De Niro didn’t really say much. Jimmy Fallon’s SNL buddy, Justin Timberlake, was pretty funny though. Van Morrision, I dunno. I miss Conan’s self-deprecating humor and silliness.

My favorite thing about the show? The Roots! The Roots are AWESOME. I think Jimmy Fallon is cool guy so I’ll probably tune in tonight too.

If you guys missed the show last night, watch it on hulu!

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

Jimmy Fallon has taken over Late Night and the first show is on tonight, March 2nd! Guests are gonna be Robert De Niro, Justin Timberlake, Van Morrision and the Roots.

Jimmy Fallon is bringing some new stuff for Late Night television. Looks like he’s gonna be pulling off stuff from the internet and involving the community more. Here’s a list from Business Insider:

  • Bringing live commercials back to TV
  • Digging stuff from the Internet
  • http://latenightwithjimmyfallon.com, isn’t site just for the show but an actual place for some extra awesome stuff.
  • Integrating his Twitter and Facebook with the show.
  • In-show segment sponsorships.
  • More geeky guests.

I think Jimmy Fallon will be pretty awesome. I saw an interview with him at CES and just finished watching Jimmy Fallon on diggnation. He seems to be in the loop with stuff on the internet and technology. Funny too, which is mad cool. While Jimmy Fallon probably will never replace Conan, cause you know Conan is the best, it’ll be a interesting change for late night television.

Watch it in 30 minutes @ 12:35 on NBC! (or wait till they put it up on hulu)
