Wow. this is the coolest thing I've seen in a long time. THIS IS THE FUTURE! Dual screen laptop? The thing doesn't even have a real physical keyboard for crying out loud! The Toshiba Libretto W100 is going to cost you $1090 when it comes out on the market (August). Some of its features include:

  • 2 GB RAM
  • 5 Hrs. of battery life
  • 1024 x 600 touch screen display
  • 1.4 GHZ Intel U5400 processor

COBY is Stepping Up Its Game!

posted by on 03.05.10 at 11:35 am

I'm pretty sure you guys remember COBY... They used to sell headphones for like $5 that would break 5 days later, or cd players that also cost $5 and would break...5 days later. Well, now they make netbooks and you can own your own COBY netbook for $85. I feel like buying a couple of these bad boys to throw at geese in my school. Actually, apparently there were multiple thefts occurring in my building, I bet if I left my dorm room open and just put this on my desk, open for any burglar to take... no crook in the right mind would take it. They'd most likely go for my SKIPPY peanut butter first.

Can you [insert activity here] for 8 hours?

acertimeline

I just stumbled across this promotion for Acer’s Aspire Timeline line of laptops. They have a bunch of videos of people performing experiments to prove the awesomeness of their laptops. Some of them test if various things can last up to 8 hours: a pen, table tennis rally, a lighter. Though, none of them do. This, of course, is to show off their laptop line and their 8 hour battery life.

They also perform a bunch of other experiments too, like… is heat from a laptop enough to undress a model. (the answer is yes). Yeah.

Anyway, I’ve embedded all the videos below.

New Laptop Hunter Commercial

posted by on 06.19.09 at 1:24 am

If you didn’t know, Microsoft has been running a bunch of commercials to show off laptops running Windows. They’re usually about how expensive Macs are and how awesome and cheap PCs are, this one is a little different.
