Who doesn't want to go back and dust off their old video games. Classic Mario... Metroid... maybe some Zelda

History of Video Games Rap.

I listen to rap, but I like listening to intellectual and or funny rap than raps that have to do with banging girls and having sex. This my friends, is probably the most descriptive rap you will ever hear about the history of video games.

Firstly let me say, "WTF? Youtube has 3D video option now?!" Secondly, let me say "WTF?! NINTENDO IS RELEASING A DS THAT PLAYS IN 3D WITHOUT ANY GLASSES?!". Check out some of its features below

  • Game Controls:
Touch screen, embedded microphone, A/B/X/Y face buttons, + Control Pad, L/R buttons, Start and Select buttons, "Slide Pad" that allows 360-degree analog input, one inner camera, two outer cameras, motion sensor and a gyro sensor.
  • Other Input Controls:
3D Depth Slider to adjust level of 3D effect (can be scaled back or turned off completely depending on the preference of the user), Home button to call system function, Wireless switch to turn off wireless communications (even during game play), Power button. The telescoping stylus is approximately 4 inches when fully extended.
  • Input/Output:
A port that accepts both Nintendo 3DS game cards and game cards for the Nintendo DS™ family of systems, an SD memory card slot, an AC adapter connector, a charging cradle terminal and a stereo headphone output jack.

You can read more about this on the Nintendo 3DS website.

Super Mario Beer Pong Table

This dude built a Super Mario Bros. 3 beer pong/flip cup table. This is perfect for people like me who love both video games and drinking. Even at the same time. It took him around a 100 hours to put it all together. Skip to 6:09 to see the finish product and hear him describe the eight worlds that are found in the game and on his table. Its to bad its not for sale cause i would consider buying it

All the words in Scribblenauts

posted by on 09.15.09 at 1:38 pm

scribblenauts

Remember when I posted about Scribblenauts a few months back? Well if you don’t, it’s basically a puzzle game where you can write anything and it’ll show up for you to use: ladders, dinosaurs, god, etc.

Anyway, it was released today and some guy ripped the complete dictionary from the Scribblenauts rom. Turns out there are exactly 22,803 words in there.

I skimmed through the list and I have no idea what the majority of these things are.

Gaming And Scarring Should NOT Be Mixed

posted by on 06.19.09 at 3:08 pm

nintendo_scarification-copy

Leave it up to some crazed Nintendo fan to go and get the NES controller scarred onto his arm. I've blurred out the picture because it's a bit gorey but feel free to hit the "more" link or the title of this post to see the non-blurred picture.
