I have had quite a few people ask me just exactly how I get into a 10ft Transformers Optimus Prime costume. I figured I should upload this video and let everyone see. Due to the size of the Optimus Prime costume, I sometimes feel like a scarecrow trapped in an Autobot. The Optimus Prime costume is not incredibly comfortable to wear, but the reaction on the faces of people in the crowd is well worth it.

I bet everyone thinks that Bumblebee costume that dude’s wearing is the shit, well, except for the guy wearing it. People probably come by all day and tell him to transform into a car. And he'll have to kneel down and stuff. What a horrible job. On the other hand, that Bumblebee costume is the shit.

Also, why does this Bumblebee costume have Optimus Prime’s head?

We Are Autobots is another one of those webcam-transform-your-face things to promote the upcoming Transformers sequel. This one puts Optimus Prime’s face on your face!

Here’s a video of me trying it out. There isn’t any sound so don’t expect any awesome Optimus Prime voice impressions.
