I just read a very interesting article from the LA Times about Paranormal Activity.

Apparently, Steven Spielberg got a copy of the screener and brought it to his Pacific Palisades estate. Soon after he watched it, the door to his empty bedroom inexplicably locked from the inside and he had to call a locksmith. Creepy huh?

Spielberg sent the DVD back in a black garbage bag.

There’s been a lot of talk about this Paranormal Activity movie. It’s a super low budget movie so it’s only been screening in a few places but the general consensus is that its scary as f*ck.

The movie has Blair Witch-esque style and follows a couple that just moved into a new house. Some strange stuff starts happening so they buy a camera to record exactly what is going on while they sleep.

Head over to the Paranormal Activity website to see if it’s playing in your city. If not, you can demand it to have them screen it in your city. Guys, demand it for NYC!
