What an awesome compilation of video game theme songs! At first I was like "wtf is this crap", then they started playing for real and I was like "AWESOME!"

A live performance for Seattle's Marrowstone in the City program. The music was arranged by the genius Lennart Jansson (Link) and myself (Ash Ketchum). I choreographed all the extra bits behind us as we play as well as sang the Halo theme, of course. The Tetris bit is a tribute to the old a capella group that did game themes. Lennart is playing an ocarina there, and I'm drumming the top of my violin. Hope you enjoy.

My friend showed me this yesterday of David Choi (guitar) and Paul Dateh (violin) playing the theme to Super Mario. Paul Dateh apparently attended the University of Southern California Thorton of Music. It's not the Mario Theme you're used to hearing. Nonetheless it's 2:08 of pure delightfulness

UPDATE: Did you know...Paul Dateh could also sing?! Listen to him sing "Hope That You, and wait till 2:05 and he whips out his violin for an awesome instrumental part!

I recognize maybe around half of them but I can’t pin a lot of them to specific movies or shows. I just know I’ve heard them before. I guess its one of those things where you know you’ve heard or seen something before but you don’t know from where. I hate that.
