So who other than MIT decided to build a 1.4 GIGAPIXEL camera? It's called the Pan-STARRS and is supposed to watch out for threats to Earth. What threats? I believe astroids, but I didn't read too much into it because I'm still in awe at how many 1,400,000,000 pixels are. The camera is in Hawaii and as you can bet it's the size of a building. What the heck kind of computer monitor is needed to see 1,400,000,000 pixels?! Check it out in the video!
